My Being sees your Being, so whenever I would like to offer a gift from my heart to yours, I offer the gift of peace…..
For out of peace flows Love, Joy, Acceptance, Forgiveness, Compassion, Creativity, Passion, Laughter, Beauty…
There isn’t anything tangible, anything emotional, anything spiritual that I can give you that is greater than peace. For if our interaction leaves you less than peace filled, all else I’ve shared is rendered meaningless. If our interaction leaves me less than peace filled, all you’ve shared is rendered meaningless. My intent is to focus on and grow my inner peace so that it is a consistent place for me to interact from; I then share from that space with you… my Being wants your Being to be most peace filled as you experience here…
Something to think about: anything I share with you from my heart is to grow your peace…whether it’s a kind word, a smile, a prayer, a delight, showing you my favorite spot in nature, making a meal, writing a note of encouragement…whatever the tangible thing is…my goal is to enhance your peace… Because I know that when you are peace filled, your heart is content and anything is truly possible in your world….
Gandhi’s Prayer of Peace
I offer you peace.
I offer you love.
I offer you friendship.
I see your beauty.
I hear your need.
I feel your feelings.
My wisdom flows
from the Highest Source.
I salute that Source in you.
Let us work together
for unity and love.
I’ve included the following song, because it is one that I listen to when I walk on my comfort beach. Makes my heart sing, if I run then my steps are joy filled, allows me to praise God..brings me closer to the Universe. The lyrics state ‘there will come a day…’ and I would like to suggest that day is *now*..this day that I am in..I choose to embrace inner peace and to share peace with you from that overflowing inner well…
When we share peace, all barriers are removed, Energy is able to flow….
I have included a new page Everyday Miracles on which I will share stories of miracles placed in my ordinary life in amazing ways…if you have a story you would like to share, please contact me. These stories will be updated daily.
Much peace,
Joy

Thank you, Joy, for your gift of peace. I love your message. In my personal experience, I have also found that with peace flows joy, love and all the other uplifting warm and fuzzy feelings. And that is why I enjoy my meditation sessions so much. For they bring me a level of inner peace that put me in good stead for the rest of my waking day.
Namaste.

I think Ghandi’s prayer of peace is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever read. I am amazed by it’s depth and sincerity, wrapped up in it’s simplicity and grace. I think how much better my life would be if I would say that to myself before every interaction, and how much better the world would be if we all would say it before every interaction with each other. Thank you for sharing that; I had never read it before, and it touched me deeply.

How funny that you wrote about peace today, because just yesterday I was thinking about your use of “peace” in emails, notes, etc. I thought, “Well, she can’t sign off using ‘With Joy…Joy’ because that sounds funny!” and then I thought, “I don’t think she’s ever signed off using ‘With Love,’ either.”
Peace seems to be your thing. You’ve manifested great energy and importance around that word, much the way I’ve manifested great energy and importance around the words “love” and “joy” in my life. For me, I know it’s because the way I came up through (after my father left), there was a seeming absence of what those words represented in my life. So I’ve purposely reinstated them — like planting seeds in a garden — and at this magnificent point in my life am watching them grow, Grow, GROW!
Peace seems perfect for you, and a lovely energy to share with all you encounter. You explained it beautifully. Thank you for adding the energy of peace to my life as only you could do.
With love,
Megan

Good Wednesday morning to you, Joy. Thank you for your gift of peace. It was tangible – I felt it unerringly find its way through the inside of my being and resonate there. The Ghandi poem was perfect for it. And your words are so true. Thank you again.

Joy,
Thanks so much for this prayer…I hadn’t heard it and my daughter is in the “thick or should I say fog of teenage yrs with my grandaughter.” So I’m forwarding it on to her.
I think it’s impossible to have any positive emotion if we don’t have inner peace. Every positive choice, attitude and bit of wisdom comes from that place. It’s the only place we heal ourselves, others and the world. Thanks for the inspiration and the lovely email. We are so blessed and it’s a great time to be alive;)

Joy,
Peace….it’s a beautiful thing. Both internally and externally – it’s so meaningful to a life that is connected to meaning (it is for me, anyway). The deeper peace that I feel, the more connected I feel to “me”…and to a Higher Source.
So, Joy….know that I too wish you much peace, in all the moments of your life…

Peace I give you. My peace I leave with you, to paraphrase Jesus.
Really? You’d make me a meal? 🙂 I’d love that. And I will make one for you too.
I am at peace today. This moment is golden.
You are a blessing to have fallen onto my life path. I am grateful for you.
Thank you for the miracle of your love and joy.

I always say Joy, internal peace is perhaps the greatest gift any one of us can give ourselves or accomplish in this life time. For when we are at peace within, we project that peace at all on the out.
Peace then flows to every single thought, word and action we have. It is a miracle in itself. And that is the world we are building together 🙂
Thank you for sharing the beautiful peace prayer and song too!

Joy, thanks for this beautiful blessing from Gandhi. I’m with you – peace is everything, for when we have a bedrock of that, life appears and is experienced completely different. Peace has been my passion for many years now and each year greater inner peace is mine…I, too, love sharing this peace with others – as you do. May we all see the value of it for ourselves and all beings. “Inner peace is mine, one step at a time.” xo

Hi Joy,
What a lovely prayer. Thank you for sharing it. I echo everyone’s comments about “peace” being your thing – it definitely is your vibration. I can feel it as I click on to your site.
A world of true peace is my greatest hope to see in my lifetime.
Peace to you also.

Joy,
Thank you for sharing the prayer and the song. I like Faith Hill and so I enjoyed doubly because she was singing it.
I know it’s been overused, but it fits you: Peace be with you always:~)

Joy, celebrating the Fourth at the circus does sound like awesme memories in the making!
I love how you say it’s a priviledge to love your children. What a nice way to put it — I feel like that too about my little blessing.
I always feel connected to a higher source too, one that gives me everything, and peace always just a thought away.
