Creating with Intention

Hello!  Welcome to my peace filled space!

I have set the intention today to open my heart fully to each moment as it is presented to me.  To honor this intention requires that I bring my entire Being to this moment.  Some might label this mindfully present, but I also choose to turn off my mind and allow my senses to lead.  My senses delight in experiencing the moment.  When I allow my senses to lead then fear, doubt, insecurities are banished–they are unrecognized by my senses so naturally and easily slough off.

That last sentence is an amazing reality in my life!  The things that may perhaps act as barriers to me when I am allowing for, naturally and easily slough off while I focus on the things that delight me and bring me closest to aligning with my heart whispers.  Win-win in a struggle free manner!

Interestingly, as I set my focus to open my heart, that theme is prominent throughout the day.  On this particular day, I have special visitors on the boat..and I’ve opened my heart to them by sharing my personal boat space and All in my life.

So, I ask my friend to join me at yoga class because I know she practices and this particular class is taught by a woman whom I trust and is instrumental in my journey and I think they will enjoy each other’s energy.  The teacher sets the intent for class around our heart chakras..literally opening our hearts..and we end with sun salutations–a loose interpretation around your heart truths. As we are in class I am opening my heart in all realms and am overwhelmed by an abundance of love.  I let this love pour through me to receive the gift, then share from this abundance by sending it virtually to All.

This flow continues throughout the day.  Experiences happen that leave me thinking how extraordinary–heart connections that I hadn’t known possible because they are not consistently part of my life.  By evening, my love affair with the world has magnified, but more than that I am privy to actually experiencing my wildest heart whisper be answered! Wild because it was so far out there..such a huge dream..and here it is my reality!

Because I set the intent to open my heart to the moment as it was presented to me, then I actually did open my heart…Intent plus action equals a reward times one million, beyond what I could fathom!

And what I do now with the gift of this day is to keep it to my self.  To allow the brilliance of it all, the radiantly beaming sunshine…to warm my outer Being and nourish my inner being..

See how nature–trees, flowers, grass–grows in silence; see the stars, the moon, and the sun, how they move in silence..we need silence to be able to touch souls… Mother Teresa

May I learn to silence my Mind,

so that my Being may Feel life as it is meant to be felt.

May my senses be delighted in various ways, each and every day.

As I focus on delighting my senses,

may Fear, Doubt, Insecurity naturally slough off,

Leaving me with radiant sunshine that

Warms my soul.

May I silence my Mouth

And connect with you through my heart.

May this connection reflect to you

The absolute best that you are..

May all that is golden touch you in myriad ways..

May the peace and joy of the moment guide you to the next.

Is there anything in your life that is overtly loud and perhaps needs to be silenced so that the next step of your dream life may unfold?

Much peace,

Joy

    Dear Joy

I have a huge smile as I write this, which so often, if not always happens when I visit your site. A smile not only on my face, but a smile that washes over my entire being.

Unfolding, being open and heart centered are all a part of my life, but you my dear have taught me and inspired me to unfold more than I ever had before.

Even though it is not about the Ego, or intellect, I have always been very connected to my mind on various levels, and in this moment, in this time of my life, I am learning better than ever before to shut off my mind, and just follow with my senses.

Thank you for leading the way 😉

      Hi Evita,
Your smile is beauty filled, so I am honored to contribute to that:)
I understand that it may be new and different to turn off your mind and allow your senses to lead; however, when you do make that choice, I bet you find that the magic you allow is magnificent, and the delight you feel overflows to all areas of life.
Thank *you* for trusting me as implicitly as you do!

It is amazing what can happen when we quiet the mind and allow the heart to open, soften, and greet each day with a trust that magic awaits!

    I love the new header

      Hi TE,
I love my new header as well..for all that it represents…
You provide excellent insight with the word ‘trust’..thank you! Opening our hearts to the world requires a trust because we are allowing our self to become vulnerable and highly “unprotected”. I find it interesting because I choose to romantically love men who can “protect” me..yet I ultimately do not want protecting, I want my heart to be fully open to the moment as it is presented..I want to trust completely!
And abundant magic truly does await..

    Dearest Joy,

I LOVE your new header! Interesting…no…serendipity…we both chose butterflies in our headers!

As you unfold and open yourself to others, may your light touch them as it as me.

Continued happiness and blessings my friend!
    Love,
    Peggy

After reading this, I’m reminded again that I must meditate. I’ve all but given up that practice as a regular part of my life… Looking for other distractions to quell me. So right now, as I shut down my computer for the night (my connection with the world), I’ll grow quieter with each breath so that I may TRULY connect with the all.

    • #14 by unfoldingyourpathtojoy on December 26, 2010 - 8:21 am

      Hi Megan,
Meditation may be an amazing resouce if we allow it to be. In my personal life, when I do not make time for meditation or yoga it is because I am ‘afraid’ of the Answers I may hear..I probably already know the answer and feel it may require work or change..so I open my heart to it and my practice freely flows again.
      Thank you for sharing!
